Be Careful With These Changes In The Tabs Of Google Chrome

From the week of May 18, Google Chrome will implement a new function with which you can tag and group tabs within the browser.

Through the official Mountain View Blog, the company has informed that a new function will be integrated in Chrome, focused mainly on those who usually have multiple tabs when using the program.

In effect, it is a tool that can be accessed by right-clicking on a browser tab, where you can select the option add to the group. After enabling this option, all the tabs associated with a specific group will be color coded.

Thanks to the common color it will be possible to differentiate which are related to which are not, also giving the option of being able to label each group of tabs that have been formed. Due to this implementation, Google wants you to better organize all the websites you have open in one session.

On the other hand, when all the tabs are already grouped within a group, you can reorder them in any way, prioritizing your personal tastes.

The tab groups can be kept until you log in again, a tool that could be useful for many browser users. From Google they affirm that the function has been being tested internally for several months.

The tests have been carried out within the company, also adding a select group of users who received access to have it enabled before. Regarding the results, the company noted, "We found that some people like to group their Chrome tabs by topic, while others group them by how urgent they are."

Regarding its new tool, Google emphasizes that "the groups of tabs can help track your progress in certain tasks, allowing better organization of time in each one."

If you want to try this option of the browser before, you can access a preview from this Wednesday, May 13 through the Beta Version of the application. However, Google points out that the new tab tools will start rolling out soon.
