Nokia 3.1 Plus - Android 10 Rollout Starts

HMD Global is still in the process of updating its own Nokia devices to the latest Android version. Now it is the turn of the Nokia 3.1 Plus and receive Android 10. This means that users of the older smartphone can now look forward to new features and improvements.

The Nokia 3.1 Plus was introduced at the end of 2018 and can be assigned to the entry area. A Helio processor with 2GB RAM works inside. The 6 inch HD + display convinces with good contrast and also offers a nice additional feature in this price segment with the glance screen.

Now users of the Nokia 3.1 Plus can look forward to Android 10, which thanks to Android One also reaches this old device. HMD Global therefore keeps its update promise. The availability of the new Android 10 version was announced by Juho Sarvikas on Twitter.

Germany is currently not one of the countries served in the current rollout wave. So users in Germany have to wait a little longer. However, it's nice to see that the rollout is now starting.

Android 10 brings a system-wide dark theme to Android. In addition, there are improvements in the management of notifications and also in terms of data protection, the system is taking a step forward and now offers a new and clear "data protection menu".
